Welcome to Norse Academy. Our mission is simple; we aim to create a community of happy, healthy, and strong individuals through the learning of real mixed martial arts meant to be effective for self defense and at the highest levels of professional combat sports.
Our classes are designed to learn how to realistically defend yourself through the tried and true methods of professional MMA, instead of the gimmicks of modern day karate schools.
Join us and learn to punch, kick, elbow, knee, clinch, takedown, and control an opponent with our safe, yet intense “ MMA Striking and Kettlebells” program. Our striking classes consist of technique, conditioning, and padwork with emphasis on safety through skillwork with occasional light sparring for those who desire to test themselves. We also throw a 20-25 minute Kettlebell workout in this class to build functional strength. Can’t go wrong with a class consisting of sharpening your striking skills and swings balls made of steel.
Want to make yourself completely invincible or don’t desire to punch anyone in the face? No problem! Come learn the gentle art of incapacitating an opponent with techingue, leverage, timing, and knowledge of body mechanics with Jiu Jitsu in order to safely defend yourself with chokes, holds, and joint manipulation, on the streets or train to become a member of our Jiu Jitsu competition team to prepare for local grappling tournaments.
